Lashes – we all love them!

Lately, eyelash extensions have seen a huge increase in demand, and this service is increasingly present in salons and moves a large number of customers. The evolution of the eyelash extension technique has grown not only in demand but also in innovation, with more and more innovative techniques and products for eyelashes, allowing more and more customization. If you are thinking about learning and becoming an eyelash extension stylist, there are a few important things you will need to know.

First of all, the eyelash extensions are no joke! Whether in a salon or on their own, all eyelash stylists have to work hard and be focused on doing a good job so they can be truly recognized for their work. If you do a good job, it will be natural for your schedule to be full! That's exactly why we love what we do so much – we love the feeling of evolution and knowing that a client is really satisfied with our work. No matter how many jobs I do, they are all special and challenging. The moment when you are finishing your work and see the entire set of eyelash extensions properly isolated and perfectly placed, is magical!

Training is essential!

Top Eyelash Shapers and Stylists started several years ago, when the area was new and training was not so elaborate. Due to the limitation of existing techniques and materials, the possibilities were lower and the difficulty to do a good job was much greater. Fortunately, in addition to the techniques and materials, the training courses have evolved a lot and prepare the trainees much better. We believe that a good foundation of theory and a good dose of practice are essential so that we can be sure that the preparation of the trainees is the best possible. Videos, posts and tutorials can help but learning to do things right the first time and with the support of someone experienced is very important, your knowledge base is only built once.

Before choosing your training, do some research.

See how many days\hours of training are - induction trainings must be two days, a minimum of 16h. Other specific techniques such as the Russian volume should only be taught to those who already have the initiation training, normally one day is sufficient. Make sure you have a model to bring on training day. With your own model, you will be able to practice what you are learning, expose your biggest difficulties right away and count on the support of the trainer to overcome them.

Choosing a training course should not be done lightly, look carefully at all the details of the program, the topics covered, the results presented and those of students from previous courses. If possible, contact the trainer to clarify any doubts you may have.

Evolution doesn't end after the certificate!

After completing the training and having the certificate, you should not have the feeling of accomplishment. The end of training is nothing more than the beginning of constant learning and the progressive improvement of your work. Ask your training colleagues, friends or family members to train – it can be a good way to motivate yourself, look for strengths/weaknesses in your work and that's probably where your first clients will appear. Therefore, we advise you to keep in touch with the trainer in order to clear up doubts, ask questions and send your work so that you can improve your service more and more. Despite the insecurity you may feel in your first clients, with training and experience you will feel more and more comfortable until you are completely at ease and can try new techniques.

If you don't have eyelash extensions, check out some work, go and treat yourself to an application in a place you'd like to work. Enjoy the space, the service and the whole experience from the appointment to the maintenance date. If you want to make your customers feel that same feeling, get inspired and focus on doing well and getting better, right from the start.

A vontade de evoluir faz com que me foque na novidade e nas tendências, o que retrata a pessoa e profissional que sou.
